Re: Ryanair Refund?
I've been waiting 8 weeks so far for my Ryanair refund so don't hold your breath.

Re: Ryanair Refund?
Yes Ryanair is playing a blinder........have taken 000s of full flight costs and not flown, so now they stop taking bookings in June still holding on to vouchers or refunds and not allowing anyone to use a voucher in June either, so they still have all of the money, and now July prices start at £80 and up to £150 one way in July from Stansted to Faro, so anyone with either a refund or voucher will have to pay substantially more if they want/ have to fly with Ryanair..this is outrageous behaviour.....

Re: Ryanair Refund?
Not only that... They already have people's money who booked months ago for holidays in July during the school hols. Now they announce flights from July at 3 to 4 times the normal price to encourage more people to loan them money, despite neither the UK or Portugal saying it'll be ok to fly from July. Jet2 and easyJet are at it too.
Both countries have 14 quarantine/total isolation policies in place with no date to ease that yet. Looking at the UK's figures on the worldometer website, it's not ready to ease lockdown yet let alone start allowing international travel again. |
Re: Ryanair Refund?
One would hope that all EU countries (inc UK) will start to bring all of this into line with each other, UK has a huge market hoping to fly to the Med and Med countries are very dependant on tourists, if they cannot do this for fear of backlash either way, or people just not willing to fly then why not just call it a day for the next 3 months and put everyone out of their misery, at least people could then plan on a staycation, in the back garden
