Residente Nao Habitual
Here an interesting article about the (end of the) RNH-period:
https://www.dn.pt/lusa/interior/econ...l-9248194.html
What will prices of property do when RNH-people sell after the 10 years? Better to keep them in Portugal?

When it first was introduced (nhr) I understand it was repeatable ie renewed on a 10 year basis it would be good if this was introduced , unfortunately I think its more likely to go the other way

Who says they are going to sell.
Who knows what their status will be.
Who knows how many will have decided to sell earlier for one reason or another.
In fact who has any idea what will happen in 5 or 10 years time.
If I had that ability I would be a millionaire many times over..
There is far more or less about Portugal than the NHR scheme..
Property prices are on the up, logically they will go down again and then up again etc etc.
The most likely short to medium effect on property prices is the effect of Brexit on UK property owners.
