Default is it really raining in Tavira??

Hi folks

Getting all excited about coming out this weekend for ten days, but the BBC 5 day forecast for Faro is not brill . . . anyone out there have any bits of seaweed, or non aching joints, etc to indicate that it might not rain next week??? Dont mind rain for me and o/h - he can do bits and bobs around the house and i can watch DVD's , but we are bringing a friend out for the weekend and last time she came it rained as well. Maybe its her

Thanks

Coudy that the moment and the wind is a little colder than normal, but no rain. Don't know what the forecast is for the weekend - to far ahead to think of that when you are retired!!

Saz - we arrived in Cabanas on Saturday from Derbyshire. The forecast today said that it was gonna be cloudy - well, true, there were quite a few clouds about (compared to the weekend when it was red hot 90 degrees) but not enough to prevent us going to the beach for the day and having our evening glass of wine on the terrace. It may be more unsettled next week but nothing to the weather we left behind last week. Don't panic just yet!

Have a safe journey.

Not sure about Tavira - perhaps Trog can help.
In Cabanas there's the Sports Bar on the front. Had a fair few good evenings in there.

Jules - apart from the Sports Bar in Cabanas, fairly sure that Esmereldas, also in Cabanas, will have it on. Also the karioke bar around the corner, although it's a bit dark in there with not such a good screen. Failing that, the bar at Benamor Golf Club is bound to have it on.

We'll be found at one of those locations for the duration, so might see you there!

Ryder Cup - no idea but there are several bars in town that have big screens for sports. You could try the Mad Hatters and just ask if they'll put it on.

And it still hasn't rained. But it's a bit dull and overcast.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Hope the rain stays away for the 5 days we are over. At least the golf will keep us occupied!!
