Can anyone recommend a reputable company that provides Professional Indemnity Insurance in Portugal?

Depends on the profession and you may also find some companies won't touch you unless you are already an existing customer.

IT Consultancy/Software.

I've taken a look at AXA and Lusitania but wondered if anyone here had first hand experience or recommendations?

Hiscox also do a PI policy.

Try Medal.pt in Portimao...They have a good reputation in the Algarve

We have ours through Hiscox in the UK but it covers us for work across Europe. An equivalent policy in Portugal was at least three times more expensive.
