Where can I print a boarding pass in Tavira other than the library.

There's an Espaço internet in the Câmara building.

Should be possible there.

You can also go to Tavira Lounge (other than a Sunday) or the 'Internet cafe' opposite the bus station. Both charge, but its not much at all.

Can't you have it sent to your phone? I don't have a physical boarding pass these days when I fly.

Not every airline does that yet, especially the cheap ones like Ryanair, easyjet et al. And even many of the larger ones for international flights - when I do Aus-UK on Qantas it has to be a physical boarding pass for international sectors.

Both Ryanair and Easyjet claim "most" flights can be boarded using an App/electronic boarding pass, with only a few airports excepted - Easyjet lists all 22 of them, with most being in Russia, eastern Europe, Turkey, and Israel. The others are scattered around various islands, and north Africa.

Qantas says most flights too, including almost all domestic flights, but their web site doesn't seem to specify which international flights haven't yet transitioned to electronic boarding passes, but needless to say, the situation is changing rapidly.

Qantas domestic you can do electronic with most flights - though some airports, including Hobart where I was last week insist on manual check in for baggage and issue you with paper boarding passes. Qantas International is not electronic yet. They require manual check in, manual baggage drops and issue paper passes.

So as I said not everywhere uses smartphone technology for check in and boarding -and there are of course a huge number of people in the world who either don't have smartphones or don't use the apps for one reason or another.

I wasn't aware that Qantas flew into Faro :rofl:
(assuming that a boarding pass printed in Tavira is for a Faro flight)

:rofl: they don't, of course....I was merely using them as an example to show Pulaski that not every airline has electronic boarding passes, and not every person uses them even if the airline does!
Hope the OP has found a printer - I had a similar issue when I flew easyjet to Santiago de Compostela a couple of years back. The hotel helped me out :)

Just to confirm most of the cheap airlines now have Apps, including Ryanair, and the electronic scan works at Faro and every airport I've used in UK (even little old Bournemouth) - a little tip if more than one of you needs a pass - download all the boarding passes on the app to one phone then screen shot the pass and text it to the other persons phone. Ryanair accept multiple passes on one phone but it just is a bit cumbersome. Anyways, no more printing!!

I used a screenshot once but the onboard crew member wasn't sure if it was acceptable . Let me on anyway. It had already passed a couple of other checks

When I worked for company in Tavira we used to print them off for our Clients.
