Does anyone know which supermarkets are open on Easter Sunday or other food shops in Tavira?

Don't recall any of the biggies being open on that day, so tis unlikely any of the mini mercados will be either.
Probably a really stupid question, so please excuse me, but why wait til Sunday to go shopping?

Our Ecomarche which is a smaller version of Intermarche is open until 1pm so I would imagine that they will all be open on Sunday morning.

Can´t comment on other areas.

this may not be much use....but the Petrol station in Tavira...sells basics & will probably be open....

Thanks, for info re shops. Steppitoe is Ecomarche in Tavira?

Paul, reason I can't shop before is that we only arrive late on Saturday.

See, perfectly logical answer. When I read your question I kinda pictured someone out in the sticks waiting for Easter Sunday to go shopping n stuff.
If all else fails you could go to church cause they're open and serving snacks and wine to commemorate some religious do.
