Re: Passport stamped
Are you a Brit? Are you a full time resident of an EU country benefitting from the Withdrawal Agreement ie you were resident prior to Brexit coming into effect and do you have the card issued to residents to show that they retained their residency rights?
If so then your passport will not be stamped
If not then your passport will be stamped and you will have a max of 90 days in a rolling 180 day period in the Schengen Area

Re: Passport stamped
My passport entering Portugal on two occasions since the withdrawal agreement was signed has not been stamped but exiting has.
Like Fred I am not a resident EU member. Would be interested to know the reason, will ask on my next visit end of this month.

Re: Passport stamped
If you are a temporary Portuguese resident, i.e. have a QR code or Biometric card, you will not have your passport stamped either on entry or exit at Portuguese passport control.
However, you do have to show it to the border officer otherwise they will stamp your passport. If your passport is stamped on entry the 90 day limit clock starts or resumes and on exit it stops.

Re: Passport stamped
This may come as a bit of a shock then Fred
Johnson handed over border control to Frontex and eventually Spain

Which is why your nice blue passport is not getting stamped

It's register under hidden virtual office in CA. It could as well be run by China or Russia.
I wish people have more common sense and not click on first search link.
Only rely on official gov websites, europa.eu, gov.uk, etc.

Re: Passport stamped
Spanish police have begun stamping passports for residents of Gibraltar bearing the blue civilian registration card who cross the border. Up until now, these card holders did not require a stamp.
However border control officers are telling blue card holders that as from 1st October, they require a stamp on their passports, and that their stay in Spain cannot exceed 90 days.
Red ID card holders continue to be able to cross the border without having their passports stamped.

These blue ID cards are the ones often carried by French, German, Portugese, Spanish and other members of other EU states resident in Gibraltar

Re: Passport stamped
Spain has regularly been in contravention of the Schengen right of free movement in the way it controlled the Gibraltar frontier but no one gave a shit about it.
