Does Portugal have any parcel hotels or Amazon drop points?
I noticed on another forum that there are drop points in Ayamonte which is useful for me to know as I am only 40km from there, in Tavira. But if there are any closer, can anyone advise?

Ayamonte is the nearest as when you shop Amazon from Portugal you have to buy on other EU sites . Good solution if you shop Amazon UK and are not able to accept home delivery is to use a service like Algarve Express - they act as UK delivery point and bring to Algarve, near Almancil and have a drop-off service in Tavira

Having had a quick look at Algarve Express though, they say that they don't deliver items that are small enough to fit in your car. As I rarely rent a car when coming to the Algarve, it looks like going to Ayamonte would be cheaper and easier for me as I can get there more easily on the train from Tavira than I can get to Almancil. Admittedly, I haven't looked at how much it costs to get things delivered to the drop off in Ayamonte but at least I now know there are a couple of options to consider. I wonder if the drop off points in Ayamonte include delivery from Ali Express as well as Amazon.

I receive from Amazon Spain and France frequently, no problem. I also shop Amazon UK and get deliveries from Direct transport in Porches.

Yes that is what I do as well. No problems over last four years. If I am out they normally ring my mobile and agree to leave it at the baker's across the street..
