Default Oxford vaccine

70% or 90% effective?

Does anyone have confirmed info about the above(other than press releases)?
The UK is saying it is up to 90% effective, but everywhere in PT claims up to 70%.
BBc says up to 90% effective if "tweaking the dose". (?)
I would think this is important if it comes to choosing which vaccine to use and especially from a marketing point of view.

It's 70% if given 2 full doses, and 90% if given a half dose first, then a full dose. Something to do with preparing the immune system better, they explained it on the news yesterday but it went a bit over my head!

I think the plan here in the UK is the half dose, then the full, so that it's 90% effective and also means that there will be enough for everybody then.

Some clarification.

Two full dose test results are 62% success rate.
One 1/2 dose and one full dose give 90% success rate.
70% figure is based on above average, so not very reliable measure.

Whole thing is complete joke. 90% result is achieve by pure luck, down to mistake in dosage test.
Made in UK.

The fda will not approve the azn vaccine, the trial protocol is a shambles.

Someone's head will roll
