Default Non Habitual Residence (NHR) Specialist

Trying to get some NHR suggestions together for French friends that want to buy and settle in the Algarve region. Are there forum members here that know a lot about this subject, can offer a service and could message me ? Or anyone that has positive experience of smaller specialists without my friends having to resort to the likes of Blevins Franks / Eurofinesco / Soverign. Nothing against the big boys in the business but just hoping for a smaller outfit with a more personal approach (and lower costs).

All suggestions appreciated - thanks

Your friends can find french forums and can find general info about the RNH on the web. In France it is very popular to emigrate to Portugal because of the RNH, so they can find a lot of info on internet.

When they know more about the RNH by reading on internet, it is easier for them to ask a professional specific questions. The more specific you can be, the less it will cost. Don't forget a forum is not the same as professional help.

'Très amusant' to know that that the French 'translation' for NHR is RNH ! Who would have guessed !! that info in itself has been helpful in opening up the search and finding more 'stuff'

Interested to know about any useful forums on the subject (In French, Portuguese or English) here or by PM if preferred but still keen to find an Algarve based local guru that others have used successfully

Don't worry I will be very wary of forum types - they can be a dodgy lot for sure :-)
