new second hand car; when is first road tax due?
I bought a second hand car early in the month; first registration was a November long, long ago.
Previous owner hasn't paid, but my understanding is that is no longer my concern.
So when do I need to pay the road tax for the first time?

Whoever is the registered owner of the vehicle on the date the tax is due is required to pay it, and the date due is the end of the month it was first registered.
