I,m quite traumatized by this news JDR. Tourist has become a way of life on this forum. I hope she gets her busy life sorted and we hear from her again soon.

Think Cleri left on 2nd and moved in on 12th approx. guess she's waiting for PT to work the magic and connect her up!!!! Uuuuuummmmm

There are yet another couple moving to the just north of Lisbon bit. Sounds nice area and you can get much smaller plots that result in cheaper houses!
Drinking and eating out is also a bit cheaper!

Must admit Judith the food and drink in the supermarkets etc are all alot cheaper up Lisbon and even Estoril area compared to the Algarve. Weather not alot different really around that area, quite pleasant.

She is having a huge hassle with PT and it could be a while before she is able to come back on board. Otherwise they are all fine and settling in.

I think the problem is that they are doing it on behalf of an alternative phone company "CLIX" so I don't think they are in a hurry! As it turns out they came this morning and thanks to our not so wonderfull electrician who done the work on our new house.......there is no box for them to install it where our services come in on the wall that surrounds the garden..........so PT left without installing it and we are back to square one Alternative was for them to run the phone line on to the roof of the house....no thanks!!

p.s off the subject a bit..... we called CLIX today who were very attentive when we signed up....... only to hear a recorded message saying "your call will be answered by an operator in around 30 minutes"...........WTF?!
