MEO: credit due
I reported a fault on my phone line (lots of crackling noises) yesterday afternoon at about 16.30. The engineer came this morning at 9.45 and had fixed it by 10.05. Although we sometimes struggle with our internet connection, particularly the speeds. I have this current experience was first class.

Their technical people are good, their administration and advertising are the problem.
My new neighbor wanted to cancel his Meo subscription at his old home and start one at his new one; Meo refused to cancel or move his contract, insisting he pay out the remaining 8 months.
Result; they lost another customer. Pretty dumb in my opinion.
Their call centers forced me to disconnect my land line. Even though I registered on the no call list, they keep right on calling.
I cut the buzzer wire inside the phone, so we can use it to call out but no one can call in.
When I hit a support wire with my mower and the pole snapped in half, the tech guys came and put in a new signal wire within 2 days.
It's underground now, one less wire in my sky.
