LISbon to SCOTland Covid requirements ? Anyone know ? for travel this Tuesday
 

Travelling this Tuesday 21 Sept from LISbon to Edinburgh..................

Finding the Scottish Govt. site hopeless as to requirements and getting conflicting info from other sites ( eg some say that the test you have to take in Portugal before returning to Scotland is the PCR expensive one, rather than the Lateral Flow.

ANYway, does anyone have HARD info as to exactly what is now ( this week ) required to do by way of

A] test in Portugal prior to departure, and

B] what has to be arranged, prior to departure , to carry out in Scotland after arrival ?

Or pointers to websites which actually provide this info ?

Riv, you need an Antigen test. You can book these and get results quite quickly. This document, showing your negative result, is then uploaded before you fly.

In addition, you need to book, through the Scottish Government website, a Day 2 test. They will then email you a code that is a requirement of your Passenger Locator Form. This test will be posted to the address you give for Edinburgh. Lastly, once you have completed the test, you need to find a location for one of the drop boxes for said test. There are many all over Scotland. Hope this helps.
