Lisbon
Hello there
I'm from over on the other side of B.E., with the septics.
It's highly likely that I and the future Mr Cutina will be moving to lisbon in september, due to work.
Does anyone have any recommendations about where to look for a house/apt to buy?
We are 28 and 35, looking for a nice place to live, central/easy to reach from the city center, and hopefully not too far from the airport. Does such a place exsist?!
Secondly- what is it like to live in Lisbon? Does anyone regret the move there?
Many thanks for your comments!

Cascais/Oeiras area is where you should be looking. Fairly upmarket, and where most of the yuppies like you two would be hanging out Easy to drive into town, and plenty of 'furrigners' around. Traffic is fairly heavy, as in any other major city, and the drivers are 'unique' (bloody lunatics! is what I'm trying to say!!!), but you'll soon get used to them
As to day to day living if you're an expat, I bow out. I would speak with biased tongue
Lucky you. I wish my dh would agree to move, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Re: Lisbon
Hi, I absolutely agree with what the TouristTrap has written. I love Lisbon as well and if possible would move there immediately (at the moment trying to organize my life more to the north - in Porto).
The area of Oeiras, Estoril, Cascais is very nice with a lot of French and British people living there. Also Sintra is nice and many Britons live there, but maybe the houses there are a little bit more expensive.
Wish you good luck in your move and enjoy!

lisbon is a great city, we live one hour north but regularly pop down for a look around, not sure about prices in the better parts of the city except to say they will be expensive...how far out of town could you live?

Telheiras: central, has an underground station, good road connections, lots of shopping and the flats tend to be newly built and with high specs. The downside is that the vistas won't be great...
