Its happened again
We had thought we had got the postal service sussed here. However we reckoned without the Dutch postal service. My friend in NL sent me a tiny package with mascara in it. assured that it would be treated as ordinary post . It was therefore sent to our apartado no at our local post office..as a letter...Six weeks later and it hasn't arrived. Lovely post office lady shrugs her shoulders,no idea where it is. Friend has meanwhile thrown out the receipt (assumed I had received it )
Sooooooooo !....Its either been impounded by customs (who don't feel the need to inform me ) OR its been nicked by some unscrupulous courier... Either way I guess its another contribution to this countries appalling postal system lottery |
Re: Its happened again
I didn't think there were Customs between EU countries. Maybe the little parcel is actually lost in Holland. I get my cosmetics from th UK and it is just sometimes days. On the other hand items from Germany ave taken many weeks. As it is consistent, I have never blamed the PT system.
