we are heading back to portugal soon and had established a long term let from 1st feb , unfortunately the agent has just emailed me to tell me the house we had lined up is now sold and so is no longer available to us , so we're stuck without a roof over our heads from 1st feb .

if anyone knows where we might secure something in the caldas or surrounding area we would appreciate it

Good news is some friends have sorted us with a short term let until 1st march and we have secured a long term rental from 1st march.
it hasn't been easy , but lots of thanks goes out to those that tried to help , we will remember it...
