How long does it take to buy a house?
Hi. I'm reading stories that it takes 24 weeks to complete a purchase in the Algarve. Can anyone share their experience please? Thank you.

Hi i bought a detached villa - currently for sale in Carvoeiro 3 years ago in 5 weeks and was told because the checks(home buyers report) had all been done it could have been quicker - only reason for any kind of delay is either because one party wants it or a mortgage is involved

We bought here and in the Algarve in Three weeks and four weeks respectively.

2 years but then the paperwork on the house was total rubbish
