Health Care for non EU parent
Hi
I am British citizen and have 5 years residency in Portugal. I registered with Portugal social security and pay contribution. I am considering bringing my dad ( non EU) to Portugal, applying family reunion residency on the basis he is my dependent. Does anyone know if he is qualified for national health care in Portugal or does he need health insurance? Many thanks!

Once a registered resident of PT then he's entitled to the same more or less free healthcare as any Portuguese person.
