Default Heads up on a phishing attempt

AWOOGA AWOOGA AWOOGA

Heads up guys;

Some clown is posting watch parties on groups that is claiming to be from the UK Government and telling UK passport holders resident in the UK that they need to register with their site. I'm 99.9999% sure this is a phishing attempt out to steal personal data for identity theft so DO NOT REGISTER and the ONLY FB page you should believe about anything Brexit related is the offical UK Embassy FB page below & this group shares all their relevant info on a regular basis. https://www.facebook.com/BritsInPortugal/

Thank you for the warning. Can you tell me what a 'watch party' is please? And UK passport holders resident in the UK?

Okay, I've googled it now apparently it's where people sign up to watch FB videos in real time as part of a group.

More accurately FB groups have a section where members can post vids & other members are more or less forced to endure them & they're a ROYAL PITA......... & any good group admin will immediately remove both vid & member from the group.

This one is VERY convincing & tells people who are UK passport holders & resident in the EU to register with them & then they have your personal details which are then used for identity theft.
