Default Finding a rental to secure residency

Has anybody heard of one month rental with 'renwable' stamped on it which is permissable to obtain residency? Thanks in advance.

Not sure that exists - one month or under is classed as holiday rental, short-term. Comes into squatting rights complications for landlords, so I believe the law allows three-month renewable as the minimum for over 28 days - you can always cancel it, dont have to renew and if it is a friendly landlord who is glad of any rent, you would not be pursued for not taking up the whole three months. That is my understanding anyway.
