I do know that there has been a great delay. I have even offered to come out and help with the gardening!
Am writing this at home in the UK with a howling wind and rain outside. Dark grey all day and horrible! Am hoping I have something good to look forward to next spring in Tavira.

Has anyone got a good contact for electrical lights and fitting them. We need to get three or four done when we come out? thanks.

They've started laying the paths between some of the blocks and generally tidying the place up.

Hi, if you are referring to the big hole in front of the block of apartments with the circular balconies, we were out last week and they were filling the hole in. Does anyone know what they will be doing with the land once it has been filled in?

Hi we are watching it daily! hell of a lot of soil going into the pit! Also saw the surveyors measuring up for the plans of the swimming pool at block 1. Perhaps this year it will look less of a tip and also the trees have been trimmed and branches taken away.... however raining and cold... (however UK promise of snow again on Wednesday.

Hi, thanks for the update it sounds really encouraging. Where exactly on the development is block 1? Also, do you know if there is only one pool for the whole development?

Sorry dont know if it is for the whole development. we were told just for the block 1,9, and 2 around the corner. We are next to the field facing the portuguese houses. the next block attached has big balconies to the front and overlooks the waste ground which is now being flattened and landscaped. I heard part was going to be a car park but not sure.
