I think that its time we sent home all the foreigners lurking around these forums!

We should start a new Party, 'Enough!'

I will be submitting my candidacy for President soon

Of course I am joking, if I really think about it, my answer to which nationality I feel is 'Foreigner'
(Anyone who answers that question with 'Citizen of the World' will be shot)

And one of the best things about being an immigrant is interacting with people from all over the place
Often its UK Northerners that I find most alien

I think you'd have problems detaching BE from its foreign ownership! Still, I guess that's only one of the problems. As someone who has been a "foreigner" most of his life, I think the concept might appeal to some....

This year marked half a lifetime since I arrived here as a 29 year old in a '71 Veedub camper looking for adventure (get your motor running) and to finally learn another language

But then, as a ginger growing up in England I always felt slightly spurned and alien :lol:

Although we moved every couple of years, so a "person of England " :) with a slight west country accent, as married to a Wiltshire lad and just lived just north of Bristol for over 20 years.

essexonians :confused: is that a bit like George Bushs 'Floridians' ? anyway the other half is an essexonian (if in fact 'essexonian' is a real demographic definition, which I doubt as I think you have made it up hoping we do not know any better:thumbsup:) Dagenham to be precise, although an honorary northerner due to time/sentence served up t'north, so in our house its 'cor blimey guvnor 1/2 a sixpence, i'll get t'pigeons in, and put t'whippets snap down before its time for t'apples and pears'

However the original forum was set up by two Brits who migrated to the US, Paul and Sue, they are the ones that made it what it is :)

Dagenham! That's London Essex, not real Essex, they are all going to be first up against the wall, along with all the Basildoninicans (made up word) and Billericy Dickies
I am from the ayegottaloiteboiuy much nicer end now being consumed by the East London / South Essex exodus in their modern Land & Range Rovers (which cant range far beyond Chelsea without getting stuck in the puddles and breaking their plastic Faux-underbody protection)
In fact, my village is the only Real Essex, the people from the nearby Big Smoke (6K pop town) Brittlesea have 2 heads and all come from the same gene puddle
Pity it doesnt have the same population as when I was a kid (under 100ish) and a pub where the bar was the guy's living room with beer served through the serving hatch, we all had them at home, my dad used to leave me outside in the pram (not made up)

But my main point wasnt us British - I can put up with the Northern lack of civilisation and class, it was those damn Johnny Foreigner types running around here talking as if they own the place
I dont care if they actually legally do own the place and are doing a really great job, are really nice and having other nationalities to broaden the view is great, British Expats should be for the British!
Because it always was like that (made up in my head)

I dont want to use the F word but

they are all, .......... FOREIGNERS!!!!!
