I say 'has been' because two days ago the 'screamer family' arrived behind us. Some kid who started screaming at a 100 decibels at 7am and continued until 8.30 pm with little or no break .

Today another slightly less 'screamer family ' (they take breaks ) arrived next door. It would have been obvious to a deaf ,blind, mute that they had neighbours next door...and um .they are not in a Butlins holiday camp, but on a quiet residential estate..but no. They are both Brits. It's just in the DNA to be loud and obnoxiously oblivious of anyone else.At least it is with this generation it seems.
Whatever prevented the usual renting success this year I sincerely hope it continues....
I never thought the famous "British moan" was inbred. I always figured it was an acquired cultural thing (just read the daily "fury and outrage" expressed in Britain's most consumed media). But hey, maybe it's in the DNA...

You should hear my Austrian neighbours, they scream at their two girls in German and the girls scream back in English, some very old Anglo Saxon words at that.

Forners! Always moaning about something. Bunch of hypocrites, too!

They say we're victims of our environment. Perhaps these screaming forners have simply become "well integrated" into British culture?

Not just Brits, the Portugal News has a story on a drunken Irish stag party flashing at passers by in the centre of Albufeira and coming off worse in a confrontation with locals.

I have decided the "Correio de Manha" has a set template in its Algarve section - the daily summary of young people being in fights in Albufeira. It's always there they just change the age, nationality, time and extent of the injuries. Normally reads something like this " At 3.30 am the police and ambulances went to a disturbance and helped 2 injured tourists, one with minor injuries and the other one was taken to hospital"
