Now, now Expatrick, you'll lower the thread’s tone – let alone the property prices.
I used to work with a guy from Skegness…. Decent enough lad, good workman too. But he was made redundant in one of the recessions, so he joined UKIP & became a black-cab driver.
Some people have such sad endings….

Ironically.. and it now seems bang up to date...My latest novel 'what I am writing' to quote Ernie..Has a scene where a father goes to the bar on a beach and gets drunk, forgetting about his three yrs old daughter ,who wanders off and drowns in a rock pool..Fiction following life.sadly
I've been trying to write one for 5 years, but I can't get out of Chapter 1. Pity as (IMO) it's a cracker, based on fact and I'd sell Spielberg the movie rights.

I love it when you can juxtapose 2 different quotes, naughty but fun!
Men's meat and two veg should never see the light of day and most know it......find a quiet corner and get started

From Sky News -
Seaside town in Norfolk put 'on lockdown' amid 'low-level disorder'
Police say reports of "low-level disorder" have forced several pubs and bars in the seaside resort of Cromer in Norfolk to close.

Are your problems with brits to do with poor quality booze? Maybe the producers need to up their game. Its interesting, we have 2 big british cruise liners a week in winter, they disgorge about 2500 brits in search of a bar. Here the rum is very pure, 70-75% alcohol, and its never measured. Ive given the stuff up now, but i well remember having to frequently ask for some coke in my rum. Even the british brewery beer is 7-10%.
The brits on a mission are just not expecting it, they drink, fall over and go back at 5pm as cargo, never seen a fight or even a strong disagreement, they cant stand up most of the time.
It helps that they have to get on their floating prefab and leave early evening too i guess.
