Thanks for that link! That's great.

So basically: There's a transition period until 31st December 2022, during which we'll be regarded as if we were still in the EU, which means we have to notify IMT that we live in Portugal within 2 months of getting the residence card.

Yes but I would apply sooner rather than later to exchange it and you do that online. You will have to visit your local IMT to register/notify your license, at least that is what I did and I don't think that has changed.
