Advice needed please. Married in the uk. Live in Portugal. Jointly own a house with husband. Want to divorce. Where do I start?

Don't know where you live Ryannsean but I would have thought the first port of call would be a lawyers.Perhaps the one you bought the house through. Sorry about the divorce Good Luck

Where you were married is irrelevant, you get divorced where you live.

If you returned to the UK to live, for example, I think you have to wait until you have lived there for six months before you can file for divorce.
