Damp proofing liquid

Hi do you know if there is any damp proofing liquid that you can mix with the concrete and if so do you know the name. It's for the garage wall internal.
many thanks

We had massive low level damp problems, plaster blowing off, paint peeling etc, forever chipping out and repainting. Got lots of ‘expert’ advice who reckoned it was rising damp and would cost a fortune, but it seemed that the original problem was caused by the original builder not using clean sand in the plaster but unwashed sea sand. Seems like it’s a common issue when they do it on the cheap. Eventually the damp in the walls will leech out the salt and blow the wall. It tends to happen at the low level, say up to 80cm where the temperature/ humidity levels meet. Solution was to chip off all the plaster and render back to brick and re-plaster with a water resistant plaster, ‘Weber-Rev’. Not expensive and, touch wood, 2 years on no damp issues.
If it’s an existing garage wall just strip back to the block and replaster with Weber Rev. Neat, no sand or additives. But make sure you use nice water too, not from a softener (salt issues) or from a borehole which has really hard water.
