Odemira
Hello
I am looking at moving to the region around Odemira next year from South Africa with 3 children (aged 5,2 and 6 months). Im looking for any advice on schools in the area - are there any English / private schools or will Portuguese schools be the only option? Also is there much of an ex-pat community in the area?
Thanks

Why look for English schools? Kids pick up language quickly, Portuguese schools are good and it will help them integrate and find new friends. At their ages, they'll be better learning with their peers - they'll learn English at home!

Re: Odemira
There is an 'expat' English language school in Aljezur, but that's 30-45 minutes from Odimira.
Basically, you're moving to a rural area where that sort of thing is hard to find.
