Can you say what is the last date you are given to pay before penalties kick in ?
I think my demand will be at my ( Portuguese ) address and don't know how to pay, given that I cannot log in to my page on the Finanças Portal.

Do you have a key holder who can go in and check and who you know well enough to pay it by multibanco then transfer funds to their bank account.

Mine arrived last Friday, in the UK, from Tavira. I paid online.
Must be paid by the end of May, no delayed payment like last year which is a bit surprising.

Last year was a delayed repayment and they have kept it for this year too!“IMI” due one month later
“IMI” due one month later
There are new deadlines for the payment of the Municipal Property Tax (“IMI”). Instead of running between April and October as before, tax settlement will take place between May and November in 2019

If it's 100€ or less, it must be paid by end of May.
If it's between 100€ and 500€, it can be paid in 2 instalments - May and November.
If it's above 500€ it can be paid in 3 instalments - May, August and November.
Hence "tax settlement will take place between May and November" (but not for everyone).
