Coffee in Avelar
If you are within reach of Avelar, and not involved with picking olives......meet up for a hello coffee:
10.30 next Wednesday, 6 November.
At the cafe in Avelar, over the road from Talho Toni (if you don’t know it, Google the phrase Talho Toni, Avelar)
It would be nice if you can post here that you intend turning up. Or just turn up!
See you soon. David and Dian

Do you need to know roughly how many people will be joining you or is the place big enough to cope?

Re: Coffee in Avelar
Good point, Rosemary! It is a reasonably-sized cafe, and I don't know if there will be just the three or four of us, or half the expat population of Central Portugal. So, anyone planning to come: please post here or pm me. Thanks!

Thought that after the rain we've had our olive picking would be off and we could join you, but we have a bit of a dry patch, so off we go, we know the cafe so perhaps we will see you one day.

The meeting was modest, shall we say, with the new guys Bev and Bryan turning up. Dian and I turned up with a neighbour, Stephanie, to welcome them, and we spent a couple of hours drinking coffee. I think they will be very happy here, in this wonderful country.
