Do you know if the Friday Tomar market has met the same fate?

Last night SWMBO told me that in our region (the Alentejo and madeira are the only virus-free regions, so far) a couple (he Italian, she Portuguese) arrived back from Italy and spent all day in the local market! So much for voluntary self-isolation.

Diddion - I saw this on Tomar's Facebook page, which seems to indicate that the daily municipal markets will be open in Tomar, but they have decided to close the big Friday weekly market

Google Tradatur is the translater that my local Camara use and Also the Financas.

Municipal Market remains open, weekly market suspended Municipal de Tomar will be open daily from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm and on Friday and Saturday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. The weekly market is cancelled, which usually takes place on Friday in the surrounding area of the building. Municipal Market (parking area, square and sheds) and in the parking lot in front of the cemetery of Santa Maria dos Olivais, so there will be no economic agent operating in that space. On Friday and Saturday the market will only work inside the building municipal government, with the need to control entries, considering the concentration of customers simultaneously in the same area

Peter, that's just the Brazilian site for Google Translate...... if you try to use it to translate into Portuguese it will give Brazilian, e.g. ônibus for bus.

It's better than nothing to translate into English though.... within reason.
