The obvious answer is but please confirm
In Portugal we drive on the left and so does the USA I take it that the headlights are all set the same and no need to be changed.
At this time of night I have no expert to ask.

Ignoring the headlights for a moment, I'd hope you actually drive on the right in Portugal.

Portugal & USA both drive on the right so headlights are the same.

US headlights are 50hz, so they're 20% slower than EU headlights.
That's why they have the low speed limits there.
But is a US tire interchangeable with an EU Tyre?

I believe the blinker fluid wi-fi is a different voltage as well.

If you take an EU car to the US, you need to change the bumpers and windscreen.
But I suppose that would be for another forum....
If you took your sheep there; well that would be a whole other kettle of fish.

Not that there is even the remotest chance that I will take a car to the US, but why?

It's all in jest at this point, but people do [or did in the past] move to the US and take their cars with them.
Some people just like their car. Sometimes it's even economically practical.

Makes methink of the way america ruined the MG Midget and roadster.
Because america wanted bumpers to break pedestrian knees rather than Ankles, they [mg] introduced hideous rubber bumpers a bit higher and stopped chrome bumpers, completely ruining the looks. I used to live near the factory, if you wanted some rostyle wheels you just borrowed the spares from a couple of new ones, the fences were full of hokes and not terribly well guarded. There is a story about a new mg that was discovered in the dealers to be 2 years old, presumably a 2 year old registered mg in abingdon was extra shiny. There was also the dual exhaust scam, just wire a spare exhaust next to the real one on 8 cars, put on a transporter to the rail head and remove them in a layby...
