Car inspection question
 

The annual inspection for our little Nissan Micra is due on 12 February 2023. Can we do it a month earlier? In the UK we can do an MOT any time if one doesn't mind losing a month or two.

You can have the inspection done up to 90 days before the limit.

If your car has a fail, they give you 30 days to get it repaired, even if you old inspection had more time on it; so if you have an old banger that might be scrap worthy, or you have some other time restraint, beware of that.
It can take 2 weeks or more to get parts, so 30 days can be tight if you get handed the dreaded red paper.
