Car Import Bureaucracy Dealer With People ? Recommendations ?
I am coming round to the idea of importing, ie putting on Portuguese plates, my 2006 Renault Clio.
I know I know it will cost a fortune, as not claiming the new res exemption. ( But anyway it would cost almost two grand to transport it to UK for MOT and return, and that would work for only one year, not several.)
My search now is for some RELIABLE and reasonably priced, and EFFICIENT person / company to do all the bureaucracy stuff and getting headlamps changed if they need to be and so on. I thought I had such a company in Cacela. but they have stopped replying to emails.
Has anyone actually done this ? Engaged satisfactorily such a company / individual ?
