We sold our apartment in December, but need to cancel the alojamento local.
It was originally issued by vila do bispo camara. I have been in contact with them, but there not being very helpful.
We live in the U.K and wont be coming back to Portugal any time soon, so cant go to camara in person as they have requested. They have said it has to be us, not someone on our behalf.
Anyone had a similar problem and managed to solve the problem.
Thanks

Reading the govt. regs about this, it appears that it has to be done in person OR electronically.
To do it electronically you need a Chave Móvel Digital.
Link here: https://eportugal.gov.pt/empresas/Se...odLicenca=2639
It makes reference on the page to the availability of an off-line document for download but there is no link.
Also it states that cancellation must be made with 20 days(one presumes useful days) of ceasing activity.
I would suggest that you need to contact you fiscal representative or solicitor in the Algarve to resolve this.
