Default Camera Equipment Dry box

I’m trying to cut down on the amount of stuff that I ship to PT once my house is sold and I was planning to bring my camera dry box with me but I’m now wondering whether to leave it behind and buy one when I get back to Lagos. Does anyone have experience with buying such an item in PT or elsewhere in Europe?

Peli cases and others are available on amazon.es. They deliver to PT.

AAMOI what is the reason for not shipping your camera gear in the current dry box?

Many thanks for your help. I will check this out when I get back. I have never used Amazon but it seems I need to start. I assume from your name you are a photographer so do you use a dry box or is the humidity low enough not to need one? Although the humidity in the Algarve not as bad as Asia it’s still humid so I think I need one. I will transport my gear in bags. If I put it all in the dry box I wouldn’t be able to lift it!

I haven't had any need for a dry box here. When I have traded in gear, lenses and cameras that have had check-ups have not failed due to fungus. I store my stuff in a couple of quite tight Lowepro bags and that's it. We are not, however, on the coast.
