British sixth form in Portugal
Morning all,
Newbie here.
I am planning to move to Portugal due to a project that I am asked to be involved in.
Very excited about it, with the only "problem" being my 16 year old daughter.
She is also happy to move, however she just finished her GCSES and plans to continue to sixth form and eventually A levels.
What are the options in Portugal to do so? I am aware that there are British and International schools in Portugal, do they offer a sixth form curriculum?
Many thanks for the help.

If your project isn't permanent, and you'll be returning to the UK, all well and good, the experience of living in Portugal will be beneficial for her. But if there isn't a School offering a UK sixth form curriculum in the area where you'll be living, maybe it would be worthwhile for your daughter to remain in the UK, with family, and finish her schooling there?
If you intend to live in Portugal forever more, you have to look ahead and think of her further education/future career, bearing in mind that, even with good A-Levels, her Portuguese wouldn't be sufficient to go to a Portuguese Uni, nor get a vocational diploma, and she'd have difficulties finding employment in Portugal.
Good luck with your decision, which many potential expats all over the Continent have to make!

In the Lisbon area, have a look at
St. Julian´s, Carcavelos
In Porto,
The Oporto British School
In the Western Algarve,
Nobel International School
Vale Verde International School
