British citizen looking to work independently. What are the best visa options?
Hi all, I have looked for an answer to this question for the last hour, and I think I have the right answer, but I wanted to check on here.
I am esl teacher, looking to move to Lisbon. I already teach online so will have some work from the jump, but I will be looking for more work there. At this point I'm not sure how long I will stay, it could be a year, it could be 6 months,. or who knows it may be permanent. However, with the intention of staying for around a year, as a British citizen, what is my best visa option? At the moment I think it is a D7 visa, or a short stay visa? With which I can stay up to a year and work with. Am I correct with this info?
And am I able to come to Portugal and start this process while I'm actually in the country?
