As I understand it, they will only send it out by post - it is a way of confirming that the address you have given is correct !! Good luck on finding out what has happened to it ...

Am debating right strategy - new email every day clogs the system bit like over-crowded unanswered phone line. Torn between walking into local SEF office or just sitting on my hands

I sent an email in December but did not get a reply. I managed to get through to the Brexit phone line just after Xmas and was told my card is in the printing room. Now I have been trying to phone again to ask why I still don't have my card and I got a ring tone a couple of times yesterday but nobody answered, nothing but engaged tones today. Boy, I cannot believe they are winding up such an efficient service to the country/people. 62 days and counting waiting for delivery after payment

Had one of those "Oh Well - have another go moments " rang SEF line, answered IMMEDIATELY .. Charming lady, explained the problem about DUC, she said problem known, walked me through the whole process again and a new DUC shown up- downloaded and wait for Monday to see if it works.

Excellent! What number did you ring? Did you speak to the person who answered the phone? I may try tomorrow.
It is all such a mess with unnecessary stress..
