Mine too Mind you, you can't beat the Patak curry paste range for a quick fix. I remember when it first came out and I ended up buying it by accident as I always used to just buy the spices and make curries from scratch. Sadly it became so popular that the price has now shot up. Still handy to have on your kitchen sub's bench though

I dont know where one might buy that here. In fact the spices I get are pretty substandard, and I cant find mixed spice and, if it translates into PT, what it would be called.
Even in UK dont ask for it because you may end up with allspice instead.

The essential ingrediants should be available though?

Yep. Got all those!
But I usually use a base curry powder (medium) and add different things to it. I've never made a curry powder from scratch. Maybe I should look at it.

Ive got a recipe for curry powder if you want it N
Basic,or Madras and garam masala,they are in my fab curry book that I use all the time
