Advogados or Solicitor?

What's the difference in choosing an Advogado or a Solicitor for house selling/buying?

I see that they have different registrations and affiliations but legally what is the best choice?

I was told that the depth of searches etc etc were greater with an advogado... so on that I made my choice.
Be warned a HUGE range of prices quoted
