Re: 2019 - UK EXITS OPEN SKIES AGREEMENT
LOL so Paddy O`Leary thinks a cheap flight thanks to him..which is getting more expensive by the week..Should affect the Brexit decision.
Funny how he is so worried about us Brits.
Carsten Spohr, the boss of German carrier Lufthansa, added: “In theory, if we could use this industry to prove to the British how wrong the decision was, that might be a good thing.”
Just baffles me why all these foreigners are so worried that the UK voters may have made the wrong decision.......They don`t usually worry about us......Unless they think it might cost them.

All the major airlines are on a race to the bottom reducing value ,space reduction, reducing what you get for your hard earned pound.
The days of inclusive meals, baggage are comming to an end, it's all plus plus plus.
BA putting in more seats, Virgin 3 classes of economy travel.

How does a link to an article from October 2017 constitute an update?

Project Fear again. Its about time Spain and Portugal who stand to loose some 7 billion pounds through lost tourism started to get in on the act. An article today from Italy stated that they get some 2.3 billion pounds from the CAP. The article from Italy also stated that we Brits had better start stocking up as we will not get the same quality products from elsewhere. Parmalat seems to come to mind and the adulteration of olive oil. Bring it on.

Well, there is a whole big world of tourists outside the EU! Europe will replace British tourists easily with Indian and Chinese. Imagine India with hundreds of millions of people from the middle class with money! What is 60 million British with their declining pound compared to that?

Re: 2019 - UK EXITS OPEN SKIES AGREEMENT
For those who haven’t figured it out yet this is what is actually happening. It was all discussed on bbc last night.
The bremoaners want to scupper the deal, any ammunition they can give junkers etc is very helpful, but think about it, there are british mp’s seeking to thwart the will of the people and incur extra cost for them - is this democratic?.
Any analyses carried out with conclusions informs the uk negotating position, so whatever exists should be kept out of the public domain [ie the mp’s] for now.
Is davis therefore lying to parliament and the analysis exists - yes probably - is this a good thing - yes - is he therefore in contempt of parliament - doubtful as the analysis will be fudged to be named as a specific piece of work for the negotiation, at the behest of the pm / cabinet office, and the mp’s have no right to see it.

Paragraph 3
" Ryanair is warning investors... that planes could be grounded from the day Britain leaves in the event of no agreement to replace the current “open skies” arrangement: “There remains a distinct possibility that there may be no flights, for an unknown period of time, between the UK and the EU from the end of March 2019.”

Re: 2019 - UK EXITS OPEN SKIES AGREEMENT
On what planet would the movement of planes, food, medicine and (legal) citizens be instantaneously stopped by a bunch of politicians?
The UK needs trade, people, movement. Car parts, handbags etc. The EU needs the same. Sales of cheese, tattoo'd tourists etc.
No politician relying on local workers employed by local industry for theircontinuing flow of gravy sorry - opportunity to represent their community, would ever put their heads over the parapet and deliberately put their voters out of a job.
Whatever freeloaders like Juncker dream up in an alcohol-fuelled haze is probably rubbish. Whatever the "boss" of Ryanair rants about - likewise. I wouldn't worry about it.
