Which way to go for 18 yo in NS

Despite my OH's (ex 30 years) efforts to put him off. The only thing our 18 yo son wants to do is join the police. He is currently completing his Year 12.in NS
I have looked up different sites and just don't know what to do.
Atlantic Police College seems good but expensive, would he have an advantage if he did their course? Or is he just as well off by going to Truro Community college to do their course?

Many thanks

not really sure why you are posting on this site as it for British police officers intending to emigrate to canada or australia, if your son is already over there as a PR then surely he'd be better talking to some serving Canadian officers in NS!!!!

The reason I posted here was to perhaps speak to any British police who were now working in NS and could give any advice. We are in the UK still, when we move out we of course will be in a better position to speak to Canadian officers. Thankfully there are more helpful people on this site that have helped with the info.needed!!!!

My previous comment stands. End of conversation.
