Re: WAPol results thread
New on here so apologies if this goes wrong....
I got my email on the 15th, and got in.
Was a complete shock as I have 10 years as a PC experience, married with 1 kiddy to take over with us.
Have a friend over there who went 6-7 years ago, he reckons this will be a big intake as numbers are seriously down.
Good luck to all and hopefully see you on the other side !

Bit of a silly and vain and typically girlie question but what'll the dress code be for the assessment exams?
Will jeans, a t shirt and cons cut it?

One of their behavioural prerequisites for a Police officer is presentability and tidy look - wear at least business casual. Just my opinion

From a mate who has been offered a transfer starting in September he said 1st assessment day (paper tests) jeans and t shirt. For interview more formal. So i'll be doing that.

Yeah I figured jeans and a t-shirt would be OK but now I'm doubting myself...

Re: WAPol results thread
Just got in touch with a colleague who is starting with WAPOL in September, he wore slacks and shirt/tie but he said there was no need because the embassy staff host the exam, not anyone from WAPOL. He says a lot wore jeans and a t-shirt for his assessment exam.

Re: WAPol results thread
I emailed them direct asking for a response. As it turns out, and as I thought, I was NOT successful. Im not overly disappointed as it was obviously not meant to be. Best of luck to everyone on the next stage of the application process. xx

I know they say no news is good news...but I guess I'll just bite the bullet and e-mail them.
I don't think it's looking good.
