I would send it again with an explanation that you are unsure if it was received as you didn't get the confirmation email. |

Re: WAPOL recruiting Internationally again!
Fadsie, cheers for the reply. Though I think I might be out o luck, I meet the eyesight requirements no probs unaided and aided, but I havnt been wearing contacts for 12 months, if the opticions part had been near the end of the process id have been alright

Re: WAPOL recruiting Internationally again!
Just to say best of luck to all those who have submitted an application this time round.
Counting down the days till the 20th, hoping so much for good news, would be gutted to fall at the 1st hurdle. Stu. |
Re: WAPOL recruiting Internationally again!
bute123,
You don't have to have been wearing contacts for 12 months. As long as you meet the unaided standard you can wear glasses to meet the aided requirements. I've never worn contact lenses but passed the eyesight test without any issues. |

Hi all,
I have my application in and waiting to hear until april 20th. Does anyone know what the PEE consists of? I too am waiting with everything crossed! The PEE appears a mixture of numeracy and literacy, there are sample tests on the Step Forward website which, although from previous posts appear to be in a different format to the PEE itself, will at least give you an idea of the sort of thing. There are 4 tests, you put in your email address, complete them in the allocated time and get your results emailed through. Best of luck. Stu. |
Re: WAPOL recruiting Internationally again!
Cheers Stu,
Someone mentioned the online tests to me before but I had trouble finding them. Is this your first WAPOL application? Martin |

Martin They were certainly on there until the website upgrade a few weeks ago, will have a look later. It is my 1st time round, yes. First time within the service range, although have been planning (hoping) on it for years! What about yourself? Stu. |

Martin; Can't see those tests on the website now it's updated, the following is from the email I received by reply after completing them: 'In addition to the sample tests found on this website, these are some textbooks that you may find useful in your preparation, however please note that there are a wide range of available resources for purchase both in bookstores and online that may also assist you. Appropriate textbooks may also be obtained at no cost from your local library. Title: How To Pass Selection Tests (5th edition 2011, 4th edition 2010 or 3rd edition 2005) Author: Mike Byron & Sanjay Modha Title: Preparing For Career Selection Tests: Numeracy and General Ability (3rd edition 2005) Author: Vera Joosten Title: Practise Now! How to Prepare For Recruitment and Selection Tests (2002) Author: ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) Press Title: More Practise Now (2007) Author:ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) Press' Hope this is of some use.
