I got a no the other day - second time I failed the paper sift. Having spent considerably more time on the application this time, and getting it reviewed by others, I am utterly gutted. I have 7 1/2 years in and it's all front line experience.

I'm a Sergeant now and wonder if that went against me?! No feedback is a shocker - failed twice, and honestly hoped this one would at least see me through the paper sift.

Has anyone who got through been a Sergeant, or is it all constables?

I'm happy to say that I have passed paper sift this time round and my test is on 2nd June at 11.00am. So happy to have got through to this stage and good luck to everyone else.
I'm a West Midlands bobby, what about everyone else.
Hi me and my wife are Coventry based. See you on the 2nd.

Hi All

I got through in 2012 and didn't go at the last stage.. I haven't heard anything yet this year but I know from last time it was an antagonising wait all the time so I'm hoping an email will come through Tuesday!

I hope I didn't blow it last time!!

Jo

It really is very frustrating having no form of feedback Morgs. Even a pointer on which element/s of the application were weak or required additional information or evidence would have been very helpful. I didn't get past the paper sift myself despite fulfilling the criteria to a tee. I'd my skipper and my father, an HR manager, look over my application prior to submitting. Had hoped I would at least have made it to the PEE. I'm currently exploring the possibility of applying through the interstate transfer. My OH might qualify for a PR visa. May be worth looking along similar yourself if it's an option? It's certainly not a guarantee by any stretch, but a possibility at least.

To tell you the truth they don't have that many female officers in WAPOL
