If anyone is interested a house has gone up for rent around the corner from me. I live in Tapping which is around an eight minute drive from the academy.
PM me if you want more details.

Hi all , I applied in February and did my psych in September but was informed I had not been successful. While this was very disappointing and also frustrating due to no feedback as to where I went wrong I still have the same desire to re-apply in a years time and start again. My question is if anyone knows will I be too late then ? As in how long are WA going to be taking applications for.
thanks

From my very limited knowledge they will definitely still be recruiting. It’s sad that you didn’t find out where you dipped. They are looking for officers with relevant and recent front line experience. If that’s not you at the moment then it could be why you didn’t get through. If it is you then it could maybe just have been bad luck on the day. Whereabouts in the process did you fall down?

Ah it was the psych alright I had just done it. Almost 4 years front line response. I thought I could just wing the psych but I definitely be doing some prep next time !!
Also got into SAPOL who replied and said they are still working to get their international recruitment ready.

It’s all ground to a halt on here. Is anyone out there who has made the move and currently in a training class able to post about their current experience?

Does anyone know if there are any pre-reads that need to be completed or even if they will help before starting training?

Fair enough I recommend you travel regional WA to get a feel of things outside of Perth
