As well as asking here, and there seems to be some current serving members, there is also the main Australia forum section - https://britishexpats.com/forum/australia-54/

The forum is searchable if you are looking for something in particular - and there are members living in various parts of WA that can help with location specific. And of course, all posts can be seen by all so helps everyone

What are the areas those with offers have been given? Am I right in saying everyone will head to a response 24 hour policing section?

Visa related question....Does anyone on here know if you have a passport for another country that is expired
My question is, during the application form it asks for "Does this applicant have other current passports?"
Now this seems simple enough, but I need to check as my "other" passport is expired ( Not a British one) this goes for my whole family, and when I put the details in it keeps telling me that the expiry date cannot be in the past , it can only be in the future or on the current date.
We do plan on renewing the passports at some point but right now they are expired.
The question is do I leave this out as they are expired? as they are not "current".

Just for those that have already gone through the visa process?

Thanks

As the passport is not current, answer the question as no.

Been keeping an eye on things, but not posted as haven't got much to add now the recruitment process is in full swing.
Well done to evryone who has made it through the process so far. Once you here that is all you hoped for.
My tenures up in 4 weeks, so am hoping to get a training job at the academy and get to meet some of you.
I am currently working a Mon to Fri gig at the moment, so if anyone is already here in Perth and wants to meet up sometime on a weekend, then PM me.

likewise. I work at Joondalup Police Station and happy to meet up with anyone who wants a chat about what happens next. I live in the northern suburbs. Doing shift work so flexible during week days. Same as Pincher, drop me a PM.

Thanks to both yourself and Pete for the offers, I may well take you up on them when it’s my turn to pack my bags. Would you mind if I sent you a quick PM about the northern suburbs?
