Morning all ,

So from what I've gathered it takes 2 months after medicals are all sent off to be contacted again . A friend of mine has just had his offer come through . He has been informed his start date will be in March 2024.I also noticed an article where they have announced at start of July 150 have been given jobs so far.

Good day all, well its been very quiet on here, but I assume everyone is in the same boat waiting for pool selection and offers.
I received my pool letter yesterday which has made me happy. Took just over three months, but worth the wait, was hard trying not to email everyday .

wish everyone well and good luck/good news

Hi everyone,

I haven’t logged into this for a while. How’s everyone getting on?

our visas were granted on 10th July and starting in March 2024. Flights are booked. We leave the UK 8th March. Can’t wait!!! Now the hard work begins to sell/scrap/give away all of our stuff!

hope everyone is well. It’s seems the process has changed a lot since I applied back in October 2022. People are now finding out there and then on the Skype session if they’ve passed the interview or not which is crazy since I waited 5 weeks to find out. Seems like WAPOL are streamlining the process as they go which is good. They seem to take feedback on board and now the medical (which they found out applicants are paying for) is now the last thing you do. People were worried shelling out £££ very early on so they changed that which is also good.

Hi Mossy, did you request a March start date or were you just given that as the next available course? I’ve just received my offer for Armadale so keen to get over there now.

I asked for March mate. Needed that time to tie up loose ends here. Contracts have started going out for September and November intakes.

25th Sept and 20th Nov are confirmed. The scheduled dates for 2024 are 8th Jan, 25th March and 29th April but WAPOL do stress that these 2024 dates are subject to change.

No one has had a contract for 2024 yet. I’ve been told I can start in March but they can’t confirm anything yet. We got to a point where we had to do a leap of faith and book the flights around 25th March proposed start date or we may have been waiting a while.

Armadale District for me Slippery Pete, so I imagine that means you could go to any station within the district.
